Chicago, IllinoisAdd to Favorite Jobs Email this Job The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine seeks a full-time Non-Tenure Track Clinician - educator at the rank of Assistant Professor or Associate Professor to join the Hand Surgery Division. The ideal candidate will have an interest in academic Orthopaedics including resident education and research. Responsibilities include resident education in the operating room and the clinic. The position will also involve the education of Feinberg Medical Students. Grand Rounds, as well as, Resident lectures will be required. As a clinician educator, the emphasis will be on teaching as well as speaking at the national Orthopaedic Hand Conferences. The Orthopaedic Hand Surgery position will provide clinical coverage for the Central Campus. Qualified candidates must be board certified or board eligible in Orthopaedic Surgery. Candidates must have completed an ACGME accredited Hand Surgery Fellowship. Preference will be given to applicants with a strong research background, and a demonstrated interest in an academic career. The successful candidate must also have excellent interpersonal skills. The start date is negotiable and the position will remain open until filled.
