POSITION SUMMARY This position may be responsible for leading, training and developing, a crew of approximately (20) skilled trade personnel in the fabrication, assembly and testing processes utilized during new ship construction and in alignment to contract specifications. The General Foreman additionally will have up to (6) Foremen assigned to them. They will be responsible for attaining Safety, Quality, Schedule and Cost objectives that ensure positive predictable results. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES Responsibilities include:

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Carries out all supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the Company's policies, procedures, and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning and directing the workforce; appraising performance, skill; rewarding and disciplining employees when appropriate, reversing unacceptable behaviors; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Demonstrates leadership skills that align with the mission, vision, and values of the Company. Will be responsible for managing Foreman that may or may not be within the same trade, to grow continuity and develop our manufacturing organization. COMPETENCIES: SPARC

The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.
