A Week in the life of a Contracts Management Analyst:



  • Draft procurement-related documents in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulations and associated supplements and DOD 5000 series requirements.
  • Coordinate Industry Days.
  • Develop Requirements documents, to include Market Research Reports, Work Statements, Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRL), Contract Line Item Numbers (CLIN), DD-254s, Acquisition Plans, Source Selection Plans, Justifications & Approvals, and Determinations & Findings for activities approval by the Government.
  • Provide administrative source selection support.
  • Administer contracts, to include preparation of Procurement Requests, Modification Requests, Technical Direction Letters/Technical Instructions, and tracking obligations/expenditures, and deliverables.

Job Requirements

  • Secret Clearance
  • Bachelors Degree


At least 3+ years relevant experience in:



  • Budgeting, Briefing, and Defense at the Chief of Naval Operations and Congressional levels
  • Communication and Briefing Skills at the SES/Flag Level

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $95,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
