Job Summary Assignments will include teaching, at undergraduate and/or graduate level(s), as applicable. Candidates should be comfortable with and prepared to teach subjects such as visual communication, the fundamentals of design practice with vector and pixel-based design, as well as at least one topic among video production, web design or motion graphics. Teaching assignments may be on the main campus or at off-campus sites within our region. Additional duties may be assigned by supervisor. Adjunct instructors are expected to provide a learning environment that supports student success, implement effective learning strategies, deliver high quality instruction, assess student learning, and collaborate closely with resident faculty. In addition, adjunct faculty will work closely and collaboratively with the course coordinator and other design faculty. Additional Job Description Required Qualifications: Master's degree or higher from a regionally accredited institution or equivalent with 18 graduate credit hours in field of instruction. Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree or higher in field of instruction (design) from a regionally accredited institution or equivalent accreditation.
