Parametrix is seeking to connect with cultural resource specialists to support upcoming projects and workload. Work will be primarily throughout Washington and Oregon. These positions will be on an on-call basis with duration and schedule of assignments dependent on individual project needs. Position duties will include:
The successful candidates should have an undergraduate degree with coursework in archaeology; and an archaeological field school or comparable experience (internship, training, work experience). 1+ years of experience preferred. Travel will be required to work sites within the Northwest and occasional overnight travel is required. These are physically rigorous positions. You must be able to hike in the range of 5+ miles a day and carry loads of 20+ lbs. Hourly rate for this position: $27-$35 Hourly rate will be determined based on education, experience, location, and role. For all positions we conduct an equity review.
