SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER JOB OVERVIEW:

This role will provide mentorship and supervision over junior project management staff related to specific project duties. Manage the execution of assigned portfolio of capital projects from conceptual to close out.

Responsibilities include but not limited to meeting with key stakeholders, hospital personnel, administrators, outside consultants, vendors, and contracts.

Project responsibilities also include oversight and report of budget, schedule and quality control of projects.

Maintain record documents for projects, management, oversight, and administration of a portfolio of capital design and construction projects including program development, feasibility analysis, cost estimating and project budget development, design management, procurement and bidding, construction management and project closeout. Ensures design supports a healing environment for our patients, staff, and visitor's needs.

Projects maybe located at any Montefiore Einstein site including MMC, CHAM, Weiler (Einstein), Hutch, WSQ, Wakefield, MNR, Shaffer, MNV, AECOM, MMG off sites and FGP off sites.

Required:

-Licensed Engineer

-PMP Certification, preferred

-10+ Years' experience

-Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing Engineering or CM (Master's preferred)

-MS Office and MS Project experience

-Ebuilder and AutoCAD experience, preferred but not required.

-Experience working at an Architectural and/or Engineering Firm.

-Prefer owner's rep experience healthcare facilities.

-Computer competency required; use of electronic file management, Microsoft Office suite, and MS Project. Bluebeam or ACAD proficiency preferred.

-Overall Management: Administration and Management - Knowledge of business and management principles involved in contract negotiations management, strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership technique, construction means and methods.

-Design Capacity: Knowledge of design programming, development and coordination. Entitlements experience preferred.

-Building & Construction: Understanding of FGI Guidelines, healthcare codes, NYC and NYS building codes, and ADA.

-Project Management: Understand urgency of projects & ability to conduct time efficient project delivery. Close coordination with end users to obtain information, decisions & approval to move project forward. Facilitate timely reply to request information (RFI's) by AE. Accurate documentation all phases of project. Ensure project closeout is completed for all projects within 6 months of project occupancy.

-Customer & Personal Service: Knowledge of principles & processes to provide customer service; includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services & evaluation of customer satisfaction. Interpersonal skills dealing with clinicians, administrative, front-line associates & outside vendors. Establish respectful & productive relationship with stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction.

-Critical Thinking: Use logic & reasoning to identify strengths & weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions/approaches to problems.

-Judgment & Decision Making: considering the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one.

-Communication Proficiency: Superior communication, written, oral, and presentation skills. Must use mobile devices for remote communication.
