As a Sr. Manager, Distribution supporting Supply Chain Management Family, you will be trusted with warehouse and distribution activities to ensure timely and cost-efficient delivery of Alcon's medical device contact lenses at Johns Creek, GA, USA. 
 In this role, a typical day will include:
 
 
 
 Ensure the safe operation of all aspects of the facility, ensuring compliance with all rules and regulations - including but not limited to OSHA, FDA, and other regulatory bodies.
 Develop performance target to achieve and exceed customer expectations, without sacrificing quality and accuracy. 
 Partner with the management team to establish and maintain quality control standards 
 Achieve excellence in meeting company performance objectives in regard to lead time adherence, cost, warehouse performance, productivity, customer service, and internal and external regulatory compliance 
 Own the P&L and the Key performance Indicators that drive adherence, service, and savings 
 Manage and execute key employee programs including performance management and compensation, employee development, training, coaching, and counseling, talent acquisition 
 Plan, direct and implement warehouse operations to ensure scheduling of all distribution services including receiving, crossdocking, storing, customized assembly orders, shipping, handling, returned/damaged goods, maintenance, and administrative activities meet customer expectations in an efficient and quality manner 
 Ship finished goods orders to ALL customers in an accurate, cost-effective, and timely manner 
 Maintain effective communications and coordination lines with our customers 
 manage the day-to-day operations conduct, effective and timely investigations with root cause analysis, CAPA action plans, and systemic closer 
 
 WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO ALCON:
 
 
 
 
 Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +18 yrs.; Assoc.+14 yrs.; M.S.+7 yrs.; PhD+6 yrs.) 
 The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English 
 10 Years of Relevant Experience 
 6 Years of Demonstrated Leadership 
 Work hours: Exempt (M - F) 
 Travel Requirements: 10%

 PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
 
 
 
 
 Experience with Budgetary Planning and Excellence in Execution 
 Ability to partner with groups such as Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE), Finance, and Customer Service 
 Experience with Compliance Regulations of FDA, GMP, OSHA, DOT, PDMA, SOX, Quality Systems, etc. 
 Excellent Internal and External Communications, verbally and written. 
 Proficient in the use of the key logistics operating systems (One World, SAP, Siebel, DLX, etc.)
