Laboratory Coordinator/Instructor

M-F, 8-5 with some flex time scheduling for laboratory courses taught in the evening hours.

Requires at least a baccalaureate degree in the field. Please contact your Human Resources office for an evaluation of education/experience in lieu of the required minimum qualifications.

MS/PhD in chemistry, crop and soil science, environmental science or similar area of study.

This position will provide leadership in maintenance and growth of the shared analytical laboratory and teach a senior/graduate level course focused on soil and plant analyses. The position will develop, administer, collaborate and coordinate laboratory activities including training graduate students, budgeting, quality assurance and safe laboratory practices.

Indoor laboratory based work which involves lifting of objects up to 10lbs, some sitting and some standing.
