Job Description General Responsibilities: Are you looking to join a growing cultural resources team to work on exciting archaeological projects? We are looking for a Field Director to help manage our field crews in our Tempe, Arizona office as part of our Environmental Services Line, Cultural Resources Group in the Western Rocky Mountain Division. As part of our team, you will collaborate with our established PIs and network of archaeologists across the nation. This is a full-time salaried position with health care and retirement benefits. This role will manage all aspects of cultural projects to ensure that they are safely completed on time and within scope and budget, while monitoring progress and performance against the project plan. They will troubleshoot and recommend or resolve operational problems and minimize delays. They will be responsible for resource management, project scheduling, budgets and forecasts, and working with external vendors, subcontractors or contractors. They will conduct meetings and prepare reports to communicate the status of the project to the project team and client. They will set priorities, assign tasks, and coordinate project staff to meet project targets and milestones, and may have responsibilities to communicate with the client and deliver work products to the satisfaction of client. They will coordinate efforts with Authorized Project Reviewer (APR) to make sure that the APR has the opportunity to engage throughout the project, particularly at critical junctures.
