**Available to regular status employees who are scheduled to work a minimum of 20 hours. Southcoast Health is an Equal Opportunity Employer. Responsibilities Under the general supervision and direction of the Manager of the Cardiac Cath Lab or designee. The technologist performs diversified clinical patient care, technical and related duties within cardiac cath lab or structural heart as part of an interdisciplinary care team. Assume responsibility for each assigned patient, perform patient assessments, and correlate clinical findings with exam/procedure request. Assist interventional or invasive cardiologist in performing cardiac cath or structural heart procedures. Obtain pertinent hemodynamic and angiographic information from patient*s and document all data within the hemodynamic system and EPIC. Perform patient education related to the procedure. Select technical factors/ parameters/sequences to produce quality images. Apply the principles of ALARA to minimize exposure to patient, self, and others. Qualifications
