Overview

LMI is seeking a skilled Information Technology (IT) Specialist in a fully remote role with the ability to travel to our client facility in Washington, DC as needed. Public Trust clearance is required.

Responsibilities

    Management of disparate hardware, software, and cloud-based IT systems that comprise enterprise-level solutions.
  • Oversight of IT systems development, along with the integration of new technologies and capabilities.
  • Identify network and automated data processing, telecommunications, and radio communications needs for federal personnel and designated facilities.
  • Coordinate with multiple organizations, jurisdictions, and agencies to ensure successful and efficient access, execute, and reporting on available IT systems.
  • Enable the receipt, safe storage, visualization, and analytics of critical medical countermeasures' data through enterprise management of data exchange agreements and reporting specifications.
  • Support response-related reporting for leadership, as needed.
  • Collaborate and oversee progress on IT projects, applications, and databases.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or informational technology-related field and
  • At least seven (7) years of experience in a relevant field or work environment or
  • Associate's degree and at least nine (9) years of experience in a relevant field or work environment or
  • No degree and at least ten (10) years of experience in a relevant field or work environment
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook, as well as knowledge and use of Zoom and Microsoft Teams.
  • Knowledge of cloud data architectures (e.g. AWS, MS Azure, Oracle, IBM Cloud) implementation.
  • Knowledge of electronic health records, immunization information systems, and data sharing standards (e.g. HL7, CVRS).
  • Skilled in development and maintenance of database systems (e.g. Oracle, SAP).
  • Working knowledge of remote/virtual meeting environments such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and WebEx.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills (e.g. time management, communication, setting goals, delegation, working under pressure, self-motivation, analytical thinking, and attention to detail working well with different customer personalities on a daily basis to assist/troubleshoot issues).
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Knowledge of master data management principles.
  • Skilled in information systems design & development, data management/engineering, and implementing Agile Methodology.
  • Skilled in IT project management.
  • Ability to analyze business processes and develop supporting technical solutions.
