Working supervisory role performs a variety of patient care and administrative support functions under the supervision of a Medical Center Manager. Provides direct supervision and personnel management for the team in a defined work area, insuring adequate staffing levels and performance management Develops and coordinates quality and performance improvement initiatives, supports program expansion. Development and maintaining of departmental procedures and standard work Performs technical, clinical support and service functions related to the work area. Demonstrates effective leadership while providing operational oversight, support and supervision for team members within assigned clinics. Demonstrates engagement in the work, team and goals of the unit. Effectively and efficiently manages departmental resources, including necessary equipment purchases Promotes quality and process improvement. Supports innovation and organizational change to improve effectiveness. Directs customer service/ patient experience efforts and communicates feedback in order to ensure goals of the are met and operations run as intended. Participates in various teaching and/or learning opportunities internally & externally. Assists the Department Manager with performing operational and administrative functions ensuring regulatory, accreditation and policy compliance. Position Compensation Range: $32.62 - $52.19 Hourly
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education: Bachelor's degree in Exercise Physiology, Cardiac Rehabilitation, Exercise Science or Kinesiology or related field of study. Experience: 2 years experience working within a cardiac & pulmonary rehabilitation setting. Licensure: AHA Health Care Provider BLS certification required, ACLS required within 6 months of hire, if RN, current Virginia license. Physical demands: Job requires standing for prolonged periods, frequently bending/stooping/traveling. Proficient communicative, auditory and visual skills; Attention to detail and ability to write legibly; Ability to lift/push/pull 20 - 50lbs. May be exposed to blood/body fluids and infectious disease.
