Talbott Recovery is currently looking for a Fulltime 72- Hour Assessment Coordinator for our Main Campus on Hunter Road, Atlanta. Qualifications

Position Summary

Initiates and completes the referral and intake process, determines appropriate level of care and maintains follow-up communication with referral sources, families, patients and program staff to maintain a quality intake.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Demonstrates the ability to obtain accurate information and interpret the patients' history of dependence/disorder.
  • Demonstrates the ability to determine callers' appropriateness for Talbott Recovery Campus's services.
  • Communicates to all involved personnel, information about patient admissions, transfers and unusual occurrences.
  • Explains the evaluation and admission process to the potential patient/referral source.
  • Documents all intake information into database including demographics and all appropriate assessments.

Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree with active Addiction Certification or Master's degree preferred.

Minimum 1 year experience working in a psychiatric/substance abuse facility preferred.
