- Maintain knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensure policies, procedures, and reporting are complying
- Recruits, interviews, tests, and selects employees to fill vacant positions
- Plans and conducts new employee orientation to foster positive attitude toward company goals
- Administers Human Resources transactions such as hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, and terminations
- Tracks employee statistics for government reporting
- Trains management in interviewing, hiring, terminations, promotions, performance review, safety, and sexual harassment
- Provides recommendations regarding resolution of employee relations issues
- Responds to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs
- Administers performance review program to ensure effectiveness, compliance, and equity within organization
- Administers salary administration program to ensure compliance and equity within organization
- Maintains Affirmative Action Plan and ensures compliance with OFCCP regulations
- Conducts exit interviews to determine reasons behind separations

Minimum Qualifications:
- 4-year bachelor's degree
- 5 years related experience and/or training
- PHR or SPHR certification preferred

- The typical salary for this position ranges from $80,400-$126,500 in Virginia. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
