Responsibilities

(This is a hybrid role, working 3 days in the office and 2 from home.)

The UHS Corporate Accounting Department is hiring an Accounts Payable Analyst to provide support functions for the Accounts Payable process for all UHS facilities.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Serves as an AP subject matter expert for the field.
  • Provides education to new users and provides continuing education to all AP users.
  • Assists with system/processing issues, system upgrade testing, and onboarding new facilities to our AP process.
  • Maintains Allscripts/McKesson profiles and set-ups.
  • Builds individual processing levels in these systems for new acquisitions.
  • Performs ECR periodic testing and identification of issues prior to implementations and updates.
  • Assists in annual and quarterly federal and state filings including year-end payment reconciliations and adjustments in preparation of 1099 reporting.
  • Assists with department projects as needed.

Qualifications

Associate degree required. Bachelor's degree preferred.

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience required.

  • Knowledge of AP functions, Allscripts/McKesson and basic accounting is beneficial.

  • Strong knowledge of Word and Excel.

  • Analyst will need to multi-task for a multi-entity UHS structure.

  • Travel is possible for acquisitions and go-lives.

  • Experience with McKesson/Allscripts preferred.
