We're seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Municipal Bond Trader to join our Wealth Management team. This role is located in Boston, MA.

In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:

• Assists in the trading and management of a multi-billion dollar book of business for separately managed fixed income accounts.
• Monitors the primary and secondary markets for municipal bond offerings that match outstanding client trade orders.
• Executes client purchase and sale orders on behalf of portfolio managers and account officers.
• Articulates trading rationale by drawing upon market observations and asset class-specific technical indicators.
• Develops new and fosters existing relationships with our national network of broker dealers and trading partners.
• Facilitates trade order executions and processing for internal departments.
• Functions independently with delegated responsibilities from more senior traders, which includes the pricing of securities and management of capital risk to maximize returns.
• Executes all correspondence requisites with a good understanding of the underlying business and specific client needs.
• Tracks trades and corrects trade problems on a timely and routine basis.
• Conducts problem analysis and identifies opportunities for process improvement.
• Provides product knowledge and technical assistance as necessary and works with third party vendors to conduct research on pricing and trading strategies.
• Handles client inquires and runs reports as necessary.
  
  To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
• Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
• 3-5 years of total work experience preferred.
• Experience in trading or brokerage preferred.
• Applicable local/regional licenses or certifications as required by the business.
