Hours: 2-11p

General Summary:

Modeling Campbell Leadership Expectations, leads a work team (40 - 60 members) who is responsible for safety, quality, schedule attainment, sanitation and cost performance. Leads team meetings and removes barriers to improve team performance. Engages team members in operational improvement initiatives through facilitation and coaching. Coordinates and delivers training related to health and safety and food safety. Maintains positive employee relations and proactively investigates issues/grievances. Ensures that team members are trained to safely perform job tasks.

Principal Accountabilities:

20% - Ensures that employee work areas are free from hazards. Coaches team members on safe behaviors. Investigates and implements corrective actions to address near misses or incidents. Coordinates and implements team safety, quality and technical training (including total productive manufacturing tools). 30% - Ensures that safe food handling procedures are followed, and that product meets established quality specifications. 30% - Achieve operational efficiencies. Work to improve line capabilities, reduce changeover time, etc. Accurately tracks own team's performance on a daily basis. Communicates with outgoing & incoming shift leaders regarding operational performance. 10% - Manages crewing and labor costs. Ensure that time and attendance reporting is accurate - Kronos knowledge is a plus. 10% - Other duties as needed or assigned to address team member engagement, operational performance, etc.

Education

Required Education

  • High school degree or GED and 3 years' experience

Preferred Education:

  • Associates degree

Requirements

  • Some previous leadership experience in a manufacturing environment desired.
  • Technical competence to learn manufacturing processes
  • Working knowledge of computers, including MS Office applications (Kronos knowledge is a plus.)
  • Willingness to work varied shifts including nights, weekends and holidays
  • Ability to effectively work cross-functionally with groups such as quality, maintenance, human resources, etc.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills including verbal & written communications, coaching, team building, addressing conflict, providing recognition and addressing performance issues within the team.

Compensation and Benefits:

The target base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between

$65,200-$93,700

Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
