Clinical Research Coordinator Psych-ZSFG-Child-ICAP Full Time 81476BR Job Summary The JJBH Clinical Research Coordinator position is with Dr. Marina Tolou-Shams' Juvenile inJustice Behavioral Health (JJBH) research team in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of California, San Francisco and Division of Infant, Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Zuckerberg SF General Hospital (ZSFG). The UCSF-ZSFG JJBH research team engages in a program of research that incorporates epidemiological/observation, behavioral intervention efficacy trial, and structural-level approaches to understanding how to improve behavioral health (HIV and sexually transmitted infections risk, psychiatric symptoms, substance use), legal (recidivism) outcomes for publicly (Medi-Cal) insured and/or systems-involved youth and young adults. The JJBH Clinical Research Coordinator will join a national multi-cultural, multi-lingual team who are dedicated to improving behavioral health outcomes and reducing health disparities among publicly-insured and/or system-involved youth and adult populations. The primary functions of this position will be on digital health, behavioral health, and navigator related projects. Examples studies include a chatbot to reduce parenting stress, a navigator program to link youth to mental health services, and an assessment study examining the impact of structural racism on health outcomes of justice involved youth. The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy. Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement. The salary range for this position is $34.32 - $55.19 (Hourly Rate). Studies aim to improve youths' physical, mental, and emotional health; reduce drug and alcohol use; reduce HIV/STI risk behaviors; prevent recidivism; identify ways to improve access to and engagement in health care for these youth, thereby reducing health inequities.
