Bloomberg Tax seeks a Practice Lead to manage a team that designs, edits, and produces substantive content and analysis for our tax research platform. We are seeking a tax attorney or accountant with substantive experience in U.S. federal income tax who is interested in putting that experience to work in a technology-driven environment. The Practice Lead will also facilitate the team's collaboration with other functions in Bloomberg Tax, including marketing, customer experience, product, and operations. The Practice Lead will manage and coach a team of tax law analysts to work hard and smart while ensuring that the team's content and analysis are accurate and current. What you will do: Leverage domain expertise to oversee the creation of premium research content for tax, accounting, and payroll professionals. Lead a team of analysts to ensure research content is timely and accurate. Facilitate the professional development of staff. Ensure prompt responses to inquiries from customers and the sales team. Develop and maintain professional contacts in support of products. Contribute to thought leadership through public speaking engagements and written analysis. Support marketing efforts related to assigned content set. Perform other duties as assigned. You need to have: Bachelor's degree, plus J.D. or CPA designation required. Tax LL.M. or MST preferred. 5 years of relevant experience. Education may be considered in lieu of experience.
