As part of an enthusiastic and accomplished team of experts, you will assist in developing a world-leading risk management organization. You will share the team's impact on all aspects of corporate risk management policies and procedures for tracking, managing, and retiring risks across various programs by identifying, measuring, and mitigating risk in the organization to optimize and enhance business operations. You must have a passion for risk management, effective communication skills, a commitment to insurance fundamentals, and a strong awareness of working collaboratively. The Risk Analyst will support our insurance program, assist the Insurance team in their projects, and execute day-to-day tasks such as Certificate of Insurance requests.

The Risk Analyst will utilize the Riskonnect Risk Management Information System to manage and update exposure data and assist with insurance renewals, claims management, cost control, and documentation management.

Some travel may be required occasionally but is expected to be minimal.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Respond to routine requests from Business Units and functions for insurance-related information.

  • Keep our Insurance Manual up to date.

  • Assist with data collection and management to support insurance renewal, claims management, and other routine requirements.

  • Maintaining an up-to-date schedule of the Statement of Values for insurable assets across the company.

  • Assist with claims data collection.

  • Ensure that our internal records are thoroughly maintained with the latest information.

  • Working with the finance team, ensure that invoices are received, processed, and recorded in a timely manner.

  • Assist with keeping risk management project status up to date for reviews by the Risk Team.

  • Collaborating with designated broker representatives, issuing and tracking automobile insurance cards and Certificates of Insurance requests.

  • Compile rudimentary reports from the Risk Management Information System.

  • Conduct ad hoc analysis on request.

  • Administrative support for the overall Risk Management Team for meetings and symposiums.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in corporate risk management, insurance company, or insurance brokerage experience assisting in risk management processes, insurance placement, and claims management.

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Demonstrated understanding of sound Project Management principles for business projects.

  • Ability to work under pressure with tight time constraints and deal with frequent interruptions, unresolved situations, frequent change, delays, or unexpected events.

  • Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident (current Green Card holder) or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

Desired

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Information Technology, or Risk Management.

  • Willingness to study for ARM, CRM, CPCU, or other Risk Management professional designations.

  • Deep experience with the advanced features of Excel.

  • Experience in Risk Management Information Systems.

  • Experience in Project Management applications.

  • Experience in working with Everbridge.

This role will be based in Kent, WA, on a work-from-work basis.

Compensation Range for:

WA applicants is $79,830.00-$111,762.00

Other site ranges may differ

Paid Time Off: Up to four (4) weeks per year based on weekly scheduled hours, and up to 14 company-paid holidays.

Discretionary bonus: Bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
