Job Description Job Title: Manufacturing Services Engineer Working Location: Cypress, CA The Manufacturing Services Engineer plays a critical role in the success of RRHTC in ensuring that our facility and equipment are operating to an optimal level for the development of Ceramic Matrix Composites, one of the top future technologies for Rolls-Royce. You will provide support to the Manufacturing Services Leader to ensure the organization's objectives and goals are delivered. Take responsibility for coordinating, at plant or cell level, the Manufacturing Services organizations service lines, ensuring that all aspects of external Service Provider partnerships are delivered and monitored in line with business requirements. What you will be doing: Work closely with the designated Manufacturing Services Leader in order to deliver the Manufacturing Services objectives providing data analysis and identifying opportunities to improve performance Support implementation of the company Health & Safety Standards which may include taking the role of Responsible Person (RP) or Assistant RP for specified activities Manage the Calibration requirements of the business and oversee the Calibration Service Provider monitoring performance against implemented Service Level Agreements. Working with Quality department on calibration compliance. Liaise with Manufacturing Engineers and process owners within the company, in order to deliver objectives and goals across the whole of Manufacturing Services. Understand the IT systems we use to drive our manufacturing services activities Competent in the use of the tools to manage Manufacturing Service accountabilities Who we're looking for: At Rolls-Royce we put safety first, do the right thing, keep it simple and make a difference. Basic Requirements: Associate degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Industrial Engineering and 3+ years of experience in production/process equipment and building & infrastructure maintenance, OR production manufacturing environment Bachelor's degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Industrial Engineering and 1+ years of experience in production/process equipment and building & infrastructure maintenance, OR production manufacturing environment Master's degree, OR PhD, OR 5+ years of experience in production/process equipment and building & infrastructure maintenance in lieu of degree In order to be considered for this opportunity, you must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident Preferred Requirements: Experience in functional support group with a proven track record delivering business results Responsibility for their own development with particular focus on their communication skills Experience of managing and coordinating external service providers with a good track record of negotiation and cooperation What we offer: We offer excellent development opportunities, a competitive salary, and exceptional benefits.
