RSVP (Relationship & Sexual Violence Prevention) Center - Student Affairs Job Description
The RSVP (Relationship & Sexual Violence Prevention) Center Education Coordinator will develop and implement programs, coordinate data collection and assessment on initiatives within the center that contribute to the sense of belonging and community, academic, social, and personal development, educational, cultural, and leadership development. The ideal candidate would possess strong analytical skills, capacity to respond well to persons in distress, ability to work in an autonomous environment, discretion and sound judgment. This professional is someone who will provide support and guidance to various students in the RSVP Center. Their work should contribute to a healthy campus community that actively encourages and supports all students to learn and grow academically, socially and emotionally through identity and gender-based violence prevention initiatives related to healthy relationships, effective communication, bystander action, and support for survivors. The Education Coordinator position is a twelve-month, full-time position. Supervision is provided by the RSVP Center Assistant Director. Some weekends and evenings required. Duties of this potion include, but not limited to, the following:
Shift
8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday This position may require evening and weekend hours supporting activities and programs within the department. Occasionally division and campus projects may require additional hours outside of your normal schedule. Minimum Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 1 year of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary Preferred Qualifications
* A master's degree in social work, psychology, educational leadership, college student development, or college personnel management. Anticipated Hiring Range
