Join us as our newest Scientist II!

In this role you'll make an impact by:

• Working in an application research team to deploy new enzymatic solutions to the customers in renewable diesel and relevant oil and fat areas.

• Working closely with marketing, sales and technical service teams on plant trials, process scaleup, and product adaptation in the field.

• Generating deep insights on substrates, processes and applications by identifying technical gaps and developing solutions to close them.

• Leading projects or tasks with a group of enthusiastic scientists and associates in a global organization on planning, driving and executing project activities to meet milestone within the timeline.

• Communicate the findings and conclusion to relevant stakeholders and customers.

To succeed you must hold:

• A Bachelor's, Master's or PhD degree in related field, e.g. chemical or biochemical engineering, chemistry, organic chemistry, biology or biotechnology.

• Industrial experience in renewal diesel or in general oil and fat areas is preferred. Experience in enzyme technology is appreciated.

• Strong ability to drive and execute projects and tasks within the timeline. You should also be enthusiastic at working in a cross-functional team and working with customers and external partners.

• Solid analytical and troubleshooting skills, and very capable of translating concepts and hypotheses into experiments and developing relevant assays and solutions in the lab.

• Excellent communication skills, great ability to present or deliver clear messages to team members, stakeholders and customers.

• A great team player, collaborative, flexible and willingness to travel when requested

Expected salary range:$90,000 - $110,000
