Completion of a high school degree or its equivalent. Bachelor's Degree in Theatre Arts, Psychology, Education, Counselling or Communications preferred. No specific experience level is required. Prior experience as a standardized patient is preferred. A combination of equivalent experience and education will be considered for University guidelines. Basic computer skills such as typing and data entry required. Must have proficient writing, communication, computer, and organizational skills. Must be comfortable with portraying roles in a simulation-based training session. Must have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to accept feedback and direction and adjust portrayals during the simulation-based training session. Must have the ability to collaborate and cooperate with diverse individuals, agencies, and organizations. Must be able to adhere to strict timelines and comply with identified standards. Must be able to travel long distances on a frequent basis, lift up to 20 pounds, set up and prepare audiovisual equipment for meetings and presentations. A valid driver's license is required.
