Join our team as a Senior Test Engineer in Danbury, CT! The ideal candidate hired for this position will partner with technical experts throughout the company and be accountable for understanding customer needs and providing meaningful, proactive technical solutions. The Senior Test Engineer will perform requirements analysis, design, implementation, integration, verification, and validation for automated test equipment, manual test program sets, as well as embedded diagnostic test applications. Job responsibilities include the ability to generate and/or modify test procedures and test fixtures for systems, assemblies and circuit card assemblies. DRS NPS offers a rare environment where projects are diverse; ranging from legacy systems designed in the 1980's to the latest technology, ensuring that engineers remain challenged by their work. Engineers are involved in shaping project concepts from the start; collaborate on designs; contribute through individual implementation efforts; and see the results of their accomplishments through completion of integration and test. U.S. Citizenship required. This position requires an active DOD security clearance or the ability to obtain such clearance within a reasonable time after commencement of employment.
